Greenhouse Counseling offers fee-based individual and group supervision for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns. External supervisees are welcome—you do not have to work for Greenhouse Counseling to inquire.

Two Supervision Pathways

External Clinical Supervision

Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns who work outside Greenhouse Counseling may request individual or group supervision with one of our Qualified Supervisors.

Supervisor assignments are based on availability, professional goals, clinical needs, and fit.

Supervision Connected to Greenhouse Counseling

Clinicians interested in joining Greenhouse Counseling may inquire about available contractor opportunities and supervision through Phedra Smith, LMHC, QS.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a position, supervision placement, or acceptance into the practice. Opportunities depend on current practice needs, qualifications, availability, and mutual fit.

Supervisor Experience

Phedra Smith, LMHC, QS

Owner and Clinical Director of Greenhouse Counseling, Phedra supports developing clinicians with clinical decision-making, case conceptualization, professional identity, ethical practice, boundaries, and sustainable growth. Her clinical background includes trauma work, couples counseling, EMDR, Sandtray, and the integration of faith when appropriate.

Phedra provides supervision for external supervisees and for clinicians pursuing opportunities within Greenhouse Counseling.

Amber Wendel, LMHC, QS

Amber’s clinical work incorporates CBT, DBT-informed practices, ACT, solution-focused approaches, and couples counseling. External supervision availability is based on schedule and fit.

Andrea Mendes, LMHC, QS

Andrea’s clinical background includes EMDR, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and experiential approaches. External supervision availability is based on schedule and fit.

What Supervision May Include

Depending on your needs and supervision agreement, supervision may address:

• Case conceptualization and treatment planning

• Ethical decision-making and professional boundaries

• Documentation and clinical risk management

• Development of clinical skills and professional identity

• Managing challenging cases and therapist responses

• Preparing for independent licensure and sustainable practice

• Individual or group supervision, depending on availability and the supervision agreement

Fees and Availability

Clinical supervision is a fee-based professional service. Rates may vary by supervisor and whether supervision is individual or group. Current fees, availability, meeting format, and expectations will be provided before a supervision agreement is signed.

A supervisory relationship does not begin until the supervisor and supervisee have confirmed fit, completed the required documentation, and signed a written supervision agreement.
