EMDR package FAQs.

🌿 What is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is a focused, extended therapy format that helps you move through emotional blocks more quickly than weekly sessions. With longer sessions and fewer interruptions, clients often experience deeper processing and faster relief. Intensives are available for individuals, couples, and families.

Who are EMDR Intensives for?

Intensives are ideal for people who want faster progress, feel stuck in emotional patterns, or are navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship injuries, or family conflict. They’re especially helpful for clients who prefer concentrated work rather than months of weekly therapy.

Am I a good fit for an Intensive?

Some clients need stabilization, slower pacing, or additional relational support before beginning intensive work. A brief consultation helps determine whether an intensive or a different treatment plan is safest and most effective for you.

How long is an Intensive?

Options include half-day, full-day, or multi-day packages. Your therapist will help you choose the format that fits your goals, symptoms, and emotional readiness.

What happens during an Intensive?

Your intensive may include assessment, goal-setting, extended EMDR reprocessing, somatic and grounding work, emotional integration, breaks, regulation exercises, relationship-focused work (if applicable), and personalized after-care recommendations. Each intensive is fully customized.

How quickly will I see results?

Many clients notice significant shifts during or shortly after their intensive. Results vary depending on your history, symptom complexity, nervous system readiness, and the depth of material being processed. Some clients benefit from additional intensives or continued therapy.

What is your refund policy?

EMDR Intensives are prepaid and non-refundable due to the time and preparation required. If you discontinue or do not comply with the program, unused hours may be converted into standard individual therapy sessions.

Can I reschedule?

Yes—rescheduling is permitted with advance notice. Specific timeframes will be outlined in your intake paperwork.

Are results guaranteed?

No therapeutic service can guarantee outcomes. Your therapist prioritizes safety, readiness, and ethical care at every step, and results will vary from person to person.

How do I get started?

Schedule a consultation to determine whether an EMDR Intensive is the right fit. We’ll review your goals, needs, and the best treatment pathway for you.
